SME North Bay, Chapter 429, is the newest chapter of SME, the first national chapter formed in 9 years and the only chapter in California north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Be recognized in the North Bay as THE premier “go-to” source for manufacturing networking, knowledge, education, and professional development.
Mission:
Our mission is to serve the needs of North Bay manufacturers while having fun in an ever changing and challenging environment by creating a culture and building a community for revitalizing manufacturing, while delivering innovation in communication, education, and teamwork.

Do you have anyone (company or individual) participating in your chapter from Sacramento? I have a new position in Sacramento (relocating from Beaverton, Oregon) and it looks like you are the closest chapter.

Michael. We are the closest senior chapter to Sacramento. However, just as an FYI, there’s also a student chapter at Sacramento State, #U213.
